BEGINNER COURSE

The beginner course helps the student understand the basic part of music production which is the foundation. The student is given a clear picture of how the music industry works and how it has evolved over the years. The student also gains knowledge in music theory and is exposed to varieties of genres and instruments. This also helps the student in creating melodies, harmonies, chord progressions and rhythms, and helps understand the foundation structure, nature of music and instruments. In addition to the above, the basic level also covers a few percussion instruments which are essential for the basics of ‘beat making’. The student also gains knowledge about the techniques, styles and types of these instruments which helps him/her understand its anatomy and usage.

The basic level enlightens the student about the recording and programming techniques used in Music Production. The student will have an understanding of modern recording and music-making methods. This level also covers the necessary technical aspects needed to understand the workflow of a Music Producer and helps the student understand the usage of digital applications in Music Making.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE

The intermediate level focuses on details in music, digital applications and hardware used by modern music producers. This level helps the student understand the in depth functionality of a Digital Audio Workstation which gives them a more precise understanding of the technology used in music and audio engineering. The student also gains knowledge about various tools in music which include Synthesizers, MIDI controllers, Samples, Drum Machines, Audio Effects, etc. The student is assigned a few projects in this level through which he/she gains control in the workflow and understanding of tools and techniques used in music making. By the time the student completes the intermediate level, he/she would be capable of understanding the importance and application of various melodic and rhythmic instruments, have an in depth understanding of the Analog and Digital tools used in music creation, setting up a home studio and its connections and finally bringing out their creativity through the knowledge and experience they achieve after completing the intermediate level.
